Microsoft technician (MCP/MCITP/MCSE 2008 or 2012 favored) providing remote and onsite technical support to our small and mid–sized business clients. Will have account management and retention responsibility for multiple customers, with an expectation to be viewed as client's trusted IT advisor. Position requires travel around Dallas and surrounding area, as well as some after hours work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform systems administration for Windows 2008 or 2012 Servers, SBS2008, Exchange 2007 or 2010 or 2013 servers, and XP or Win 7 or Win 8 workstations across multiple customers
  • Perform problem analysis and systems monitoring
  • Provide assistance to identify and troubleshoot Windows, mail delivery and network related problems
  • Maintain client security levels and confidentiality of information
  • Perform server and workstation updates and patches
  • Input and manage tickets through our PSA (Professional Services Automation) system
  • Partner with management and other staff to communicate client feedback & recommended solutions to any problems
  • Partner with sales and professional service engineers to identify sales opportunities of benefit to clients
  • Participate in bi–weekly team meetings and training as required
  • Position requires approximately one week of night and weekend on–call duties per month
Education and Experience:
  • Must have 3+ years systems administration experience; job level varies based upon years of experience
  • Requires four–year college degree or technical degree with an additional 2 years of work experience
  • Solid work history
  • Previous experience supporting multiple clients in an outsourced service industry is preferred
Requirements / Skills:
  • Highly customer focused with excellent customer service skills and professionalism is essential
  • Exchange 2007/2010/2013 administration experience is mandatory
  • Working knowledge of LAN networking/distributed computing environment (client/server)
  • Experience in Active Directory and configuring network routers highly desired but not mandatory
  • Good trouble shooting skills, able to solve problems quickly and completely without assistance
  • Ability to multi–task with a positive "can–do" attitude in a busy technical work environment
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to present technical concepts in layman terms
  • Self–driven and highly motivated with a positive mental attitude and ability to work without close supervision
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Scripting skills
Additional Requirements / Desires:
  • Must have reliable transportation and maintain auto insurance at least 100/300/50.
  • Previous experience using remote monitoring, ticketing and CRM systems highly desirable.
  • Experience with terminal servers and remote connectivity is a plus.
